Left - This is what happens with normal roundings. When rein pressure is applied, the reins move down the rounding, increasing pressure and leverage on the bottom ring. The rider has no choice in the matter.
This defeats the obect of 2 rein bits, as curb pressure increases with rein pressure and there is no relief for the horse.
Our Pelhan Couplings are adjustable, so that tthat the rider is able to choose the pressure on each rein, when a contact is taken, by altering the length of each strap.
