HP Beval Snaffle

The D ring Beval Relief snaffle has optional rein positions for leverage and poll pressure, allowing it to work like a mild leverage bit with the look of a traditional D-Ring snaffle bit. It is designed to be used without a curb strap.

The HP Relief Beval is the ONLY Wilkie that does not also act as a Gag bit. All other Beval bits are loose ring, which means that the bit rises up, putting pressure on the corners of the lips, as well as poll pressure, when the reins are used. Many horses hate this and like our Beval better, as the action is precise and the bit remains stable in the mouth.

This bit has removed the problem of  'Slots' causing rubbing on the side of the horse's face.
